Kasie Kennedy wrote this beautiful children’s picture book after loosing her father and wanting her daughter to have a connection with her grandpa.
The text is written in rhyme and the illustrations are stunningly colourful and bright.
I feel that this book will help many children who have lost a family member or even a pet to deal with their feelings of grief.
I highly recommend this book to parents, grandparents and practitioners.
Disclosure: I was sent the book for the purpose of the review but all opinions are my own.
Grandpa is now in Heaven is published by Austin Macauley publishers and retails at£8.99. It is recomended for age3-5 years, but I feel that it would benefit a wider age range.
