Chaos in Santa’s grotto: children’s book review

December 4, 2023 Karen 6 comments

This book has a lovely bright, colourful front cover, enticing readers to want to look inside.

What would happen if Santa was ill?

This delightful children’s book explains with fun, rhyming text how everyone in Santa’s grotto coped when the big man was unwell with flu.

Children will love hearing and seeing the illustrations showing the naughty antics that the toys, animals, fairies and elves get up to in Santa’s absence.

And will Santa recover in time to deliver toys to all the girls and boys on Christmas eve?

Disclosure: I was sent the book for the purpose of the review, but all opinions are my own.

The book is written and illustrated by Isobell Star=Mead.

It retails at £6.99 and is recommended at children aged 0-6 years.

I love everything about this book, it would make a great stocking filler and will be enjoyed at any time of year over and over again.

As always questions and comments are welcome.

Until next time.
