Chuck the cheetah: children’s book review

May 6, 2022 Karen 10 comments

The first thing that struck me about this book was the bright front cover.

Chuck is a cheetah who ALWAYS wins, he is so confident about winning that it has made him big-headed.

But what would happen if he didn’t win a race?

I love the message that the story is sending out to children: That you win some and lose some.

At the back of the book are some pictures for children to colour in

.

The book is written by K.A. Mulenga and the beautiful, bright illustrations are drawn by Tsabitha Yahya.

Disclousure: I was gifted the book for the purpose of the review, but all opinions are my own.

Chuck the cheetah retails for £7.91 and is recommended for children aged 3-8 years.

The book would make a lovely bedtime story, but would equally be enjoyed at other times too, that’s why I recommend it to parents and careres.

As always questions and comments are welcome.

Until next time.

  1. Winning and losing are such important concepts for children to learn. Love that the book has colouring pages as well. Thanks for linking up with #DreamTeam
