Regular readers will be aware that I have been working with ichild for some time. So when I was sent some of their father’s day downloads, I thought that I would share them by writing this post:-
Make a tie craft could be used to make a tie for dad,
or for yourself, or even go the whole-hog and make matching ties for both yourself and your dad. This activity encourages children to use their artistic skills and by using their imagination can be quite adventurous with the design.
Father’s day reward chart
What more incentive does a child need to be well behaved than to do it for father’s day? The idea is that dad’s give their children the chart with some stickers to promote wanted behaviour.
Best dad certificate is exactly what it says ‘on the tin’
there is room for a child to add their own pictures or stickers to personalise for their dad.
A letter for dad is a great printout where a child can write to their father.
ichild also have a variety of pictures that can be coloured for dad, including some that can be made into cards to give to dads on father’s day.
Finally I was sent some sheets of animal top dads, explaining a little about the best dads in the animal kingdom.
All of these downloads can be found at www.ichild.co.uk most are free or upgrade to access even more resources.
Happy father’s day to dad’s everywhere (especially my dad, Ken Smith!)
As always questions/comments are welcome and please share on social media.
Until next time
Karen

Lovely ideas, I really like the letter to Dad, I may have to get my kids to do that. And learning about animal Dads is a great idea too.

I love the “top Dads” and the “letter to dad” ideas. I think the letters would make great keepsakes to show your kids later when they grow up and to reminisce on (as a parent) #ALittleBitOfEverything
