The front cover of this book shows girls with several different hair colours and colouring of different skin kinds; making it feel inclusive to everyone.

Inside the book there are 18 chapters over the 191 pages.

the book covers lots of subjects regarding puberty: From how our bodies will gradually change to frequently asked questions, such as,:- Am I developing quicker/ slower than my friends ? to what will happen if my period starts while I am in school?

It also mentions why we may have different mood swings due to our hormone changes.

The main focus of the book is to encourage girls, with the help of an adult, if necessary ( this would usually be the mother , but could equally be another female relative or close friend to build their own personal puberty portfolio so that they are prepared for every situation before it happens.

Disclosure: I was gifted the book for the purpose of the review, but all opinions are my own.

I am highly recommending this book to girls, parents and careres of girls everywhere as I feel it will be a huge benefit to them and may prevent those conversations that some people feel embarassed to talk about openly.

Girl’s puberty confidence builder is written by Lily Wright.
