Grandpa’s magic garden: children’s book review

November 10, 2024 Karen No comments exist

I came across this children’s book on Facebook.

It has a bright, vibrant front cover enticing readers to want to investigate what is inside!

The book which has 20 pages tells the story of Ray, who loves spending time with her Grandpa.

Ray has been told not to venture into Grandpa’s garden; what would she find if she did?

Summer Hull and Harley Evans certainly enjoyed finding out what was going to happen to Ray.

The tale is of magical events, secrets and making new friends.

Grandpa’s magic garden is written by Claire Carey.

The bright, colourful illustrations that c0ver every page * and some smaller ones amongst the text are drawn by India Danter.

Disclosure: I was sent the book for the purpose of the review, but all opinions are my own or of Summer and Harley aged 9 and 8 years.

.

I am highly recommending this book because children (and adults reading it to them will love Ito discover Ray’s adventure into the garden/

It would make a fantastic bedtime story, but will equally be enjoyed at other times too,

Grandpa’s magic garden retails at £6.99

It is aimed at children aged6 to 11 years.
