Jennifer Dexter the Little Black Cow; children’s book review

August 5, 2025 Karen 2 comments

Jennifer Dexter and her friend Dougal have to move to a new farm, read this heart warming story and discover how they deal with this big move.

Every page has a delightful, colourful illustration making the book even more appealing to readers.

The story could be a useful tool for helping any children who are going to be moving house.

Jennifer Dexter the Little Black Cow is written by Mary Forsythe and the lovely illustrations are byKris Lillyman.

Disclosure: I was gifted the book for the purpose of the review, but all opinions are my own.

I love this book so I’m recommending it to everyone, it would make a great addition to the bedtime routine as a story before settling down to sleep; it would equally be enjoyed at other times of the day.

The book is recommended for children aged 4 to 7 tears, although I feel that it would be enjoyed by a wider age range.

It retails at £9.99
