I came across this book on social media and instantly thought that it would be a great fit for my blog theme.

Mark shares his experience of growing up with dyslexia in a way that could quite easily be used as a tool in the classroom as a way of supporting children who find learning a challenge.

This book is unique because it aims to help children ( plus their parents, carers and teachers) with different learning abilities especially dyslexia and ADHD.

Throughout the book are some wonderful illustrations by Rachel Cush and Rossie Stone.

Mark Stoddart and Katrin McElderry have written the book in a fun way which will appeal to everyone, I’m sure.

Towards the end of the book there is an explanation of the different forms of learning struggles that some children have.

And a useful list of where to find other helpful resources.

Making a Mark! is aimed at children aged 9-14 years of age.

It retails at £14.99
