I was sent the following books:
The Christmas present dilemma!
This delightful book teaches children that Christmas is an expensive time .
Marsh doesn’t want to offend his friends by asking for presents that they can’t afford, so the friends come up with their own ideas and choose the perfect gifts for him.
Doing the right thing:
In this book Marsh uses his special power, that he can see into the future to help his friends stay safe, but they get annoyed because they don’t understand what he is doing.
so he has a decision to make: Should he use this power to help his friends or not? Eventually he comes to the conclusion that helping others is always the right thing to do.
Both books are written and beautifully illustrated by Mark W. Duff.
They retail at £5.99 in paperback and are recommended for children age up to 8 years; very young children will enjoy looking at the illustrations, while older ones will also love and learning from the text too.
I love both of these books and recommend them to parents and carers to add to their book shelves.
Disclosure: I was gifted the books for the purpose of the review, but all opinions are my own.

Thanks for sharing these with #PoCoLo – it’s always good for children to learn through story telling isn’t it?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Stephanie
These sound like great kids books. I like how the one kids book covers how not everyone can afford to buy large amounts of presents at Christmas. We personally focus on our kid’s birthdays and they don’t typically get gifts at Christmas now that they are older and their gift requests are so expensive.
