Following the success of my last review, Helena asked if she could send me more of her activity boxes:
REFLEX AND DRAW :

This contains some double-sided laminated images on squared card for children to copy exactly underneath, using the red and blue felt tipped pens.

Harley 9, loved this activity( which he said he has done at school), so much that he did all of them!

The a exercise is perfect for developing hand-to-eye co-ordination, fine motor skills and to practise gaining control over writing implements.
The child’s felt tip drawing can then be wiped away with the included rub-off pad so they can start it all over again, if wanted.

PATTERN PALS:

Inside this box are more laminated images and lots of different coloured sticks( the size of lolly pop sticks).

Children can use the sticks to copy the laminated image suggestions or they can create their own designs.
Summer,8, was pleased with her own creation.
.

This acuity will encourage communication and language development as well as imagination and child led play,

INKY EXPERT:

Consists of some images that children can use the red and green dot markers to complete their designs

Ink expert also includes 3 ink stamps; a crocodile, giraffe and an elephant that children can use to make their own unique pictures.

There are also some smaller strips of images which will help children to learn and rfecognise different shapes and colours.

Once again the benefits to children in all the boxes are numerous: developing fine motor skills, hand-to-eye co-ordination, communication and language skills, colour and shape recognition, imaginary development, gaining control over writing implements, encouraging mark making skills in younger children and child led play, what’s not to love about Sensory adventures?

Disclosure: I was gifted the boxes for the purpose of this review, but all opinions are my own, or of Harley and Summer (of who were invaluable to the review, ) I would like to thank their parents for giving permission to me for using their opinions and photos!
Summer also told me that you can put a dot on your hand, if you wish with the dot marker!

As I have mentioned several times, I love, love the sensory adventures activity boxes so am recommending them to absolutely everyone, everywhere!
Sensory adventure boxes are suitable for children over 3 years of age.
The boxes retail at £6 each,or there are 6 boxes available for £30, making them £5 each ( fantastic value for money, in my opinion).
Buy them here
As always questions, comments and topic suggestions are welcome.
Until next time.
