ichild have some fantastic activities for children that are available to download.
Here are just a small sample:-
The baby animal flash cards are a fun activity that young children will love. I would use them by first asking the child to name each animal and then ask him to match the animals with their babies.
finally I would ask what noise each animal makes, if you are really creative why not make up stories with your children about the animals.
ichild also have several mother’s day activity sheets from making cards, a best mum certificate and pictures to colour to give to mum.
Many of the ichild activities can be downloaded for free, or become a gold member, as I am and access even more downloads.
Early years settings, including child child minders and parents will find this resourse invaluable.
