Perter sent the following books:
THE FIRST LAMB:

The first born lamb had nobody to play with, so he went for a wonder to find some friends.
The simple illustrations provide opportunities for developing communication and language skills.
The text is repetitive; which means that children can join in with the story.
Find out if lamb finds someone to play with after meeting a squirrel, bird, fish and hedgehog along with other animals.
The book is illustrated by Stef Parkinson
THE LOST RABBIT:

This book tells the tale of a rabbit who gets lost while playing with her friends: Again the text is repetitive and the colourful illustrations will be appealing to young children who can be asked to count the animals on the pages; developing counting and number skills as well as discussion about the other animals in the book.
the lost rabbit is illustrated by A. Fairclough.
THE FIRST FROG:

Similar to the first lamb the first frog has nobody to play with ;so he sat and waited for someone to come along ,after meeting a few animals that weren’t suitable play mates, he almost ended up as someone’s dinner!
Will the first frog ever find somebody to play with? The repetitive text tells all.
Once again the colourful illustrations by Stef Parkinson will be enjoyed by children ( and adults, alike).
THE SILENT WOLF:

The wolf has an important job to do in the forest where he lives: To protect all the other animals. But the wolf has no howl; the other animals have been told about the silent wolf can they help him to find his howl?
Children will love learning about the strange noises that the wolf makes whilst trying to achieve this!
The beautiful illustrations which add to the attraction of the book are by Stef Parkinson
PANDA MAKES A CAKE:

Panda likes to bake so one sunny day she decides to bake a cake, but while the cake is cooling and Panda takes a rest, the cake disappears. Who can have taken it?
The illustrations in this book are quite different from the ones above: These have been cleverly made by Peter using DALL-E AI.
ROSIE’S TREASURE HUNT:

This is based on the true story of Rosie, a rescue dog from abroad.
She decides to look for some treasure in the house where she lives; children will enjoy finding out exactly what treasure Rosie is searching for.
At the back of the book there is information about the P.A.W.S.(animals without shelter charity that helped Rosie to find her forever home.
The DALL-E AI illustrations provide opportunities for developing communication and language skills, along with imagination skills when children try to predict what Rosie is hunting for.
