This children’s book is written and illustrated by Lauren Foreman.
It is a lovely little book that has rhyming text ( my favourite) and delightful, bright, colourful illustrations.
The story tells how Polly has difficulty in sharing until her mother convinces her that sharing is best
.
The book is not too long so would hold a child’s attention and as learning to share can be difficult for many children and parents to deal with, it would be a useful tool for parents and carers to use with their children, that’s why I am recommending this book.
.
Disclosure: I was sent the book for the purpose of the review but all opinions are my own.
Polly learns to share is aimed at children under 5 years of age and retails at£4.99.

I have written my own tips for sharing here
As always questions and comments are welcome.
Until next time.

I love how expressive the illustrations are for emotions especially in the eyes which I think is really important for little ones. My two year old has started to point this out in books recognising happy and sad. Anything that helps children learn to share is good in my view! Thanks so much for linking up at #KCACOLS. Hope you come back again next time x
That is so true and great that your little one is noticing such things, thanks for sharing, Jade
This looks great – my twins could do with all the help they can get learning to share haha! #anythinggoes
Cute ilustrations #StayClassyMama
That looks like a great book that I could use for my autistic son who is not very good at sharing. I also think it would engage him because it’s and rhyming. Thanks for sharing #StayClassyMama

Rhyming text is so useful for engaging small children. Thanks for linking up with #stayclassymama
Good luck with the teenage years, especially if you have girls, in my experience
Hey, sharing’s difficult for a lot of us adults too! I find a rhyme scheme in books seems to stick better with young kids also, so this looks pretty neat. Thanks so much for linking up at #KCACOLS. Hope you come back again next time.
What a great book. Love the illustrations. It shows the emotions very well. Sharing is always an issue between siblings and kids in general. Lovely to see a book that teaches kids how to share. Thanks for sharing this with us at #kcacols x

It’s so hard trying to convince young children to share. My two year old has limited words, but ‘MINE’ is one of them! Thank you so much for sharing #AdventureCalling
Definitely useful for helping kids understand sharing concepts.
