I came across this company on Facebook and they agreed to send some magazines for a review:

I received 3 magazines; as follows:

Favourites (:issue 414)

This is jam packed with fun learning opportunities; dinosaur stickers and story. a simple recipe ( for children to create with an adult’s help. a word search and colouring pages.

A paw patrol work book which includes , hand writing counting and adding up up practice.

Plus a certificate for the child when the work is completed.

There is also a baby shark make and play activity.

This particular magazine retails at £4.75

The adventures of Paddington pizza party ( issue 479)

Attached to the front cover of the magazine is a pizza party play set.

Inside 56 pages are

A make an owl copy and cut out activity., colouring and colour by numbers, a snakes and ladders type game to play .

Peppa pig story and stickers.

Make a pizza oven for the play set.

Handto eye co-0rdination maze.

A paw patrol work book includes letter recognition and colouring.

A baby shark maze, stories and a recipe for making pizza crowns,

This one retails at £4.99

Peppa pig ( issue 357)

Again on the front cover is a free gift; a Peppa pig explorer set- comprising of a magnifying glass. binoculars and 2 plastic bugs.

Inside the magazine are Peppa pig stickers, a story about butterflies, a page teaching where different animals live,a recipe and a counting game .

A 16 page nature workbook with counting, puzzles and colouring.

A spot the difference and a game to play.

Plus as if that wasn’t enough!) a hanging bird feeder to make.

Disclosure:I was gifted the magazines for the purpose of the review, but all opinions are my own.

All of the Redan fun to learn children’s magazines support the early years curriculum, making them a useful asset for settings, parents and carers of pre-school aged children.

And because they feature favorite children’s characters children will find learning fun ( which is exactly what it says on ‘the tin).’

I used a similar children’s magazine ( but nowhere near as good as these) to spend one-to- one time with my youngest son while his older siblings were in school.

As a former early years practitioner myself I can’t speak highly enough of the magazines, I am impressed with each one.

Buy them here

As always questions and comments are welcome.

Until next time.
