Review of Big digger,little digger

Walker books sent this beautiful hardback children’s picture book.

Little (and some not so little boys) everywhere will love this book.

Inside the front cover is a diagram of the little digger pointing out the different parts.

Little digger feels left out when a bigger digger arrives on the building site, until big digger gets into trouble when digging a big hole and little digger comes to the rescue.

This is a delightful book with colourful illustrations by Daron Parton. The story is written by Timothy Knapman.

I would use the pictures in the book to help teach colour recognition to young children.

The publishers recommend that it is suitable for ages 3 plus, but I know that much younger children will enjoy sharing it with an adult.

Disclosure: I was sent this book for the purpose of the review but all opinions are my own.

Little digger, big digger is published by Walker books and retails at £11.99.

I love this book so would recommend it to everyone, it would make a great Christmas stocking filler.

As always questions/comments are welcome.

Until next time.

  1. This is definitely something Ben would enjoy, perhaps once he’s got through his other books first!
