So when I was given the opportunity to review another of their educational toys, I jumped at the chance.

My Geobloxhttps://bestlearning.com/products/best-learning-my-geo-bo xis a set of sorting and building blocks, which help young children to learn colours and shapes.

Along with the blocks there is a hard wearing board book.

My great niece, O, was delighted to demonstrate how the bloxs work.

They are aimed at children over 3 years of age,

O is only 26 months, but she is extremly bright for her young years .

She was excited when presented with the blox and used language such as “open it”, ” close it ” and “a box” when she saw the largest cube.

She enjoyed manipulating the different shapes with her tiny hands and fingers: Twisting the shapes to make them join together and take apart.

She knew the name of the star shape and was overjoyed when she discovered the red heart inside the last blox that she opened.

O knows the names of some colours, but sometimes gets confused as to which names match which colours.

Having access to My Geoblox will have O successfully naming all the colours correctly in no time at all. Of that I’m certain.

O Loves books, she will happily sit and share any book with an adult, so she especially enjoyed looking at the little book which showed her all the shapes and colours that she had been learning about whilst playing with the My Geoblox.

She was developing fine motor skills and creasing her communication and language all while having fun!

.My Geoblox also provides endless opportunities for child led play and asking open ended questions to children while they are playing and investing the blox.

As well as visual perception, spatial awareness.

And learning all about 2D and 3D shapes.

Older children will gain even more from My Geoblox.
