Review of Thank you animals

http://www.facebook.com/michelleningbooks/This fantastic children’s book is written and illustrated by Michelle Ning Lo.

The front cover is really bright and colourful making it appealing straight away.

Inside is an animal alphabet; not only is the text written in rhyme (making it even more fun and easier for any early readers to predict the next word-giving them confidence). There are also facts about each animal; how they help us and how we can protect them, making the book educational for older readers.

.

Michelle’s illustrations are bright and fun, ensuring that the book is suitable for children of a wide age range.

Thank you animals retails at £8.65.

It is recommended for ages 0-12 years (I believe that a child is never too young to benefit from sharing a book with an adult).

I love everything about this paperback book and therefore recommend it to everyone, it would make a great bedtime story but would equally be enjoyed at any time.

Disclosure: I was sent the book for the purpose of the review but all opinions are my own.

Michelle is planning a giveaway event to help promote her book and raise awareness of animal welfare! She will put the dates and details of the giveaway on her Facebook page  here

As always questions, comments and topic suggestions are welcome.

Until next time.

  1. My eldest is 9 and always joins us at storytime even though he is a confident independent reader so I agree with your point about sharing books at older ages! Love the illustrations. Thanks for linking up with #globalblogging

  2. That looks like a wonderful book to teach children about different animals. I love that it has extra information about the animals to appeal to older children as well as the rhymes to make it engaging for younger children. #KidsandKreativity
