Tiny tree books sent this lovely book, which explores a child’s imagination; it is full of diversity.
The book also challenges gender stereo-types; as Millie, the girl in the story pretends to be a fire fighter just like her dad
.
This wonderful daddy/daughter story is written by Ryan Crawford and Kayla Coombs.
It is recommended for children aged 5-7 years, but I feel that early years settings with younger children in their care would benefit from having it on their book shelf as the tale covers many of the topics that Ofsted inspectors are hoping to see when they visit practitioners.
The book is full of bright, colourful illustrations making it even more appealing to children.
Disclosure: I was gifted this book for the purpose of the review but all opinions are my own.
This is just the sort of book that I would have enjoyed reading to my own children and when I was working as a registered child minder , so I highly recommend it to everyone.
What can we be is being realised om 3 June by Tiny tree children’s books, it retails for £7.99

Another lovely book from the Tiny Tree collection . I love the daddy/daughter theme ,dads usually have a great relationship with thier daughters. Thank you Karen .
I do think its good to have books that challenge gender stereotypes. #GlobalBlogging
Yes I like this message, so important to smash them gender stereotypes X #anythinggoes
What a wonderful message. When I was a young girl, the only professions discussed in story books were teacher, nurse, and mommy. I was a teacher and a mommy!
Good to encourage any child to aspire and not be stuck in gender stereotypes #BloggerClubUK
Sounds brilliant. It’s always great to find a book which challenge gender stereo types! #StayClassyMama

I love the lack of gender stereotypes: children should be free to make their own lifestyle choices rather than worry about society’s norms. Thanks for linking up with #stayclassymama
Great to see a Dad as the staring role! Looks like a fab book #KidsandKreativity
Sounds like a really useful book for early years with a Dad star and challenging gender stereotyping. #kidsandkreativity

Books on Diversity are so important, especially in these changing times. We have to teach our children how to be more understanding for a better future.

That’s great, I hope she achieves hervdream!
