Self -esteem is cool; children’s book review

I came across this book on social media and reached out to the author, as I knew it would be a great fit for my blog theme:

The book has a bright front cover; showing children of different ethnic backgrounds, a child in a wheelchair and another wearing glasses ( it’s great for children to see a book character that looks similar to them as it can boost their self-esteem.

On every bright, vibrantly illustrated page, we meet different children trying to be cool in their own ways.

Disclosure: I was sent the book for the purpose of the review, but all opinions are my own.

Self-esteem is cool is written and beautifully illustrated by Beth Ann Bauer

Harley, aged 8, said that he enjoyed looking at the pictures( he was especially delighted to see the child in a wheelchair; as I am a wheelchair user myself)

The book is recommended for children aged 3-8 years of age and retails a£9.76

I am obsessed with this book because I know that it will help a lot of children to become more confident, if they have a low self-esteem. Seeing the illustrations that have so many different children, including large children, fashionistas and even a nerdy child will do a lot towards giving every child a boost of confidence, that’s why I am highly recommending it to parents and careres everywhere.

As always comments and questions are welcome.Until next time.
