I came across this company on Facebook.
And after reaching out they agreed to send me the following activity boxes:
LINK IT UP:

This pack consists of 4 different coloured strips of a textured material, which children can be asked what it feels like, with a button on one end and a button hole on the other; meaning that children can button the strips together in any order they want. There are also several brightly coloured plastic chain links that children can get creative with; making bracelets, necklaces or hang them from the material strips.

This activity is fantastic for developing fine motor skills, as well as learning colour recognition and encouraging child led play, language and communication development,to name just a few!

SNIP SQUAD

This pack consists of several colourful pictures for children to cut out, and two different pairs of scissors for practisingscissor skills.
.

This activity also helps to strengthen fine motor skills and develop hand-to-eye co-ordination.

CUBE CREATIONS:

In this slightly larger box there are colourful , smooth plastic blocks ( that also have a hole for joining them together, again children can explore the texture of the box contents) these can be joined together to make anything the child wants! There are some laminated pictures for children to copy designs from, or they can use imaginary skills to make their own creations

Again this develops child led play, fine motor skills and communication and language.

Disclosure: I was gifted the boxes for the purpose of the review, but all opinions are my own or of Summer, Jaxson, Harley, Donovan and Xaiver; who I would like to thank for helping with the review.
The children all thought that the boxes were good fun: Summer liked the link it up box best and the boys preferred the cube creations.

Harley decided to use the blocks to spell his name.

Each activity comes in it’s own plastic sealable container making them great for using on a journey to keep children occupied, or whilst out having a family meal, or celebration, such as a wedding, perfect as children can play quietly while being kept entertained.

Each of the above boxes are suitable for children aged 3 years plus, the snip squad should be under adult supervision while using the scissors.
I am highly recommending these sensory activities, as a former outstanding Ofsted registered child minder I fully understand and apricate how valuable they are for helping children to learn whilst having fun.
The rice is reasonable too at £6 each, or there are 6 boxes available for £30 making them £5 each.

As always questions and comments are welcome.
Until next time
Karen
