St. Georges’s day is tomorrow 23rd March.
I love these downloads that are designed for children to celebrate St. George’s day:-
DRAGON CRAFT:
The main thing needed for this craft is an old wooden spoon ( that will need painting)
and some basic store cupboard essentials.
Simply download the activity and follow the instructions.
DRAGON AND SWORD MAIZE:
Is a great way to help children to develop their hand-to-eye co-ordination as they draw the line for St. George to follow.
ST. GEORGE’S DAY CROSSWORD:
Older children will enjoy the challenge of completing this St. George’s day themed crossword.
DRAGON COLORING CRAFT:
Even young children can colour in this dragon picture.
All of the above activities and many, many more can be found here
As always questions and comments are welcome.
Until next time.

Wonderful! I don’t know why, but St. George gets all kinds of attention where I am: a river and a lake named for him!
That’s a good thing thanks for sharing, Michele
I’m familiar with St George but never heard of him having his own day before. Interesting. Can’t go wrong with dragons #dreamteam
The English, don’t seem to celebrate our countries day (St. George) like the Welsh and Irish do, I don’t know why, Jeremy, thanks for your comment
What a clever idea to make a St George dragon using a wooden spoon! It’s actually a great way of recycling an old spoon rather than throwing it away. Thank you for joining us for the #DreamTeam x
Thanks for having me as a part of the linky and for your comments,as always, Annette
I love the wooden spoon craft and am wondering what other designs could be made! St George’s Day is important to us as the kids take part in parades for Beavers. Thanks for linking up with #DreamTeam
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience, Laura and for having me as a part of the linky, as always
