The fish with a wish

This glossy paperback children’s picture book has a bright front cover.

The book tells the story of William, a fish, who with the help from another fish, manages to save his ocean friends from plastic polution.

The text is written in rhyme; my absolute favourite in children’s literature because it makes it fun to read- the text is also printed clearly enough for any early readers to attempt to read for themselves.

The fish with a wish is beautifully written and illustrated by P. M. McCormick.

. The book would be an asset to settings as a way of introducing children to the dangers of plastic pollution

to wildlife.

It is published ny Austin Macauley and retails for £9.99.

The book is recommended for age 5-7 years, although I feel that a much larger age group could benefit from it’s message. I love this book as it is bringing awareness of a subject close to my heart to children.

Disclosure: I was sent the book for the purpose of this review but all opinions are my own.

Until next time.
