Unicorn activity for the school summer break

Now that the long school summer break is fast approaching, plan ahead  by gathering together some activities in case of bad weather (this amazing weather can’t last forever).

ichild have a great make a unicorn craft and as unicorns seem to everywhere at the moment why not join in with this trend?

The instructions are really simple and the only materials needed are scissors, glue and some pencils for colouring.

There is a choice of a ready coloured unicorn

or children can colour and decorate the blank template.

Younger children may need some help with cutting out the shapes but other than that children should be able to manage this craft without too much supervision ( I hear a cheer from parents everywhere!)

As well as the unicorn craft ichild have a vast range of other activities which can be downloaded visit  www.ichild.co.uk many are free or upgrade  to access even more.

As always comments/questions are welcome and please share on social media if you think that friends would benefit from reading this.

I would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on the activity.

Until next time

Karen

  1. I think this is a good idea getting the children really involved in making thier own unicorn, especially good that they can do thier own individual colouring instead of using the ready coloured one. Like you’ve mentioned this good weather won’t last forever.

  2. my kids are all about unicorns right now too and they love watching “My Little Pony” on TV. I agree it is totally the “Thing” right now. I’m going to check this out because they would live it! #KCACOLS
