Usborne children’s books from the Enchanted page review

I have worked with Louise from the Enchanted page in the past, so when she asked if I would review more of her books. I agreed at once because I love Usborne books:

USBORNE VERY FIRST WORDS LIBAY GARDEN:

This is perfect for tiny hands and fingers; the book is made from thick card and has a wipe clean surface.

The font cover has a peep hole showing a cute little lady bird who appears on every page for toddlers to find and talk about.

Tony Neal, the illustrator has cleverly done drawings of things that you can find in the garden: animals, insects, a tree and a flower. As well as a few different weather conditions.

The illustrations are also a great way for children to learn about colour recognition. and will be an asset to any early learning partitioners looking to reach the foundation stage goal of understanding the world..

Sharing this book with young children will help to develop communication and language skills too .

The book retails at £5.99 and is aimed at children of any age( children are never too young to benefit from a book)

ANISHA ACCIDENTALDETECTIVE

:

This paperback book has a vibrant front cover.

The book has 18 chapters which tell the humorous tale of Anisha and the events that happen just before her aunty is about to get married.

It is written by Serena Patel and the black and white sketches that appear throughout the book are drawn by Emma McCann

.

Anisha accidental detective retails at £6.99 and is recommended for children aged 6 years plus.

This book could be a real asset for any reluctant readers as the contents. may be enough to encourage children to gain a life long love of literature!

Disclosure: I was gifted the books for the purpose of the review, but all opinions are my own.

i am highly recommending both of these books for the different reasons that I have mentioned.

They and several other great Usboorne books can be purchased from Louise at The Enchanted page here

As always questions and comments are welcome.

Until next time.
