Regular readers will know that I often work with ichild, because they have a wonderful selection of crafts and activities to keep children entertained; this is a few of their Wimbledon themed ones:
WIMBLEDON WORDSEARCH:
Older children will enjoy the challenge of finding the tennis related words( the answers are at the bottom of the page, if needed ).
PAPER PLATE TENNIS BALL:
Obviously this ball can’t be used to actually play tennis, but children of all ages can have funs sticking pieces of green tissue paper onto a paper plate to make their own ‘tennis ball.
TENNIS BALL CUP CAKES:
This is a recipe that would require some help from an adult, but everyone can enjoy eating the cakes once they have been made!
TENNIS BEAN BAG BALL;
This can be made from felt ( which is a great material for children to work with as it doesn’t fray ).
All of the above and many more can be found here
As always questions and comments; which I always read and reply to, are welcome.
Until next time.
Karen
