The book that is based on a true story has a striking front cover.

Chi Chi, a giant panda was taken from the wild, in China and has been to zoos all over the world.

The book tells her story of what happened next, which is full of education for children and adults reading the book to them.

Every page has stunning, vibrant colour illustrations which add to this wonderful book.

Summer, aged 10 thought the book was great, she especially liked the illustrations

Disclosure; I was gifted the book for the purpose of the review, but all opinions are my own or of Summer’s

Along with the book I received a passport.

And some stamps showing some of the countries that Chi Chi was sent to.

At the back of the book there is some information about pandas and conservation, as well as more information about pandas; Explaining what they eat, how long they sleep and their develpoment from cubs.

Chi chi the panda is written by Maisie Chan and the remarkable illustrations are byJo Lindley’

I am highly recommending this book to everyone as it has so much to offer; Teaching Geography, nature, conservation and awareness of different cultures.

And who doesn’t love a giant panda?
