Austin Mccauley sent the following:-

TAAVI THE TRACTOR;

This colourful picture book will delight any children who have an interest in vehicles (I know that my son’s would have loved it when there were young).

The text is written in rhyme making it even more fun to read.

Tavvi meets other vehicle friends on a day out.

Tavvi the tractor is written and illustrated by Kelly Battersby and retails at £9.95.

I know that this book will be enjoyed time and time again, so I am highly recommending it,

THAT LEAF IS MINE;

This delightful book could be used as a tool to help children to learn to share and help others, the story is about a group of ants who are clearing the forest floor.

Children and adults will love the bright, colourful illustrations that the book offers on every page.

That leaf is mine is written and illustrated by Louisa Anne and retails at £10.95,the book is aimed at children aged 0-5 years.

WHAT TO DO IN AN EMERGENCY;

This gives early years children an introduction into emergency services and some life saving skills; the book could be an asset to practitioners doing a topic on people who help us. Throughout the book are illustrations some of which are multi cultural.

I reaaly like the differnt approach that this book has, it sells for£10.99

WILSON’S WALK;

Tells the tale of Mr.Tom and his dog, Wilson, who have two completely different walks. Children will enjoy the fun antics that Wilson gets up to, plus the colourful illustrations are a great way of engaging younger children with the story.

This book is written and illustrated by Nina Rankin and retails at £8.95.

TICK TOCK;

This has a drawing of a clock on every page and the cleverly written rhyming text describes what is going on outside Charlie’s window, the illustrations are of things that children will be familiar with and can be asked to look for, something that can help engage any children who are reluctant to share a book with an adult to do so.

Tick Tock is written and illustrated by Alice Troeber.

It retails for £10.95

ANIMALS OF THE WORLD;

From animals that children will be familiar with to some more exotic creatures this book will be a favourite with children everywhere, it has simple facts about each animal.

Livia L, Waterfield -Meyer is the writer and illustrator of the book which retails at £9.95

All of the books are glossy paperbacks and would be suitable for children of a wide age range, making them value for Disclosure: I was sent the books for the purpose of the review, but all opinions are my own.

they would make a great addition to book shelves.

Each book is published by Austin Mccauley publishers

Available here.

As always questions and comments which I love to recieve are welcome.

Until next time.

  4. That leaf is mine would help my autistic son because he doesn’t like sharing but if I’ve got something that he wants he says to me ‘sharing is caring.’ Thanks for linking up with #StayClassyMama
