I discovered this book on social media.
the front cover is bright yellow, with a great picture of Hank.

Hank is a friendly, fun loving goose, but he’s afraid of swimming.
Read how by helping others, Hank also helps himself to eventually enter the water.

The text is rhyming; my favourite in children’s literature, because it makes it fun for the perso nreading as well as those listening to the story.
Rhyming text also helps children to grasp the idea of reading independently.
As they can often predict the next word, giving them confidence.
Disclosure: I was gifted the books for the purpose of this review, but all opions are my own.
I am highly recommending the books because they have it all; a fun story that will delight children, wonderful illustrations and educational bits too what’s not to love?
Throughout the book there are some lovely illustrations that will help children to build communication and language skills.

As well as the story book, Abby also sent a colouring book .

Which has some pictures from the story, that children can copy the colours, plus lots of other pictures to get creative with, even including some events that happen throughout the year!

The books are recommended for children aged2-5 years(although I feel that a much wider age range would enjoy them)

Hank the goose goes Honk is written and illustrated by Abby Dean.

It retails at£7.99
