POLARLICIOUS:

This magical book will take children on a journey to the Arctic where they will meeat a polar bear and a seal.

I love this book for the fabulous illustrations and so will children everywhere.

It is written and illustrated by Neil Seddon and retails at £9.99

THE SNOWMAN:

This is a different take on the book and cartoon by Raymond Briggs.

Children will be able to relate to the story if they have built their own snowman and if they haven’t they will want to as soon as possible.

The snowman is written and illustrated by Rebecca McCaffery and sells for £8.99

THE OWL WHO WORE SUNGLASSES:

Barney, the baby owl gets separated from his family, the tale tells of his adventures before getting reunited.

The book also introduces another species of bird; educational as well as fun, what’s not to love?

This book is written and illustrated by Eric Barnett and retails at £4.99.

THE SQUIRREL WHO SPLIT HIS TROUSERS:

Poor Sammy has put on some weight; read how he copes with getting stuck in the doorway, children will love the humour in the text and the bright, colourful illustrations.

It is written and illustrated by Judith Tipping and retails at £9.99.

MY TEACHER’S A ROBOT!:

This book is aimed at older children, who will love the humour, I actually couldn’t wait to find out what happens next.

It is written by Phil Barnes and sells for £4.99.

I love all of these books which are aimed at pre-school aged children except for( My teacher’s a robot!) which is meant for older children.

Austin Mcauley have a large selection of children’s books on their website here .

As always questions and comments are welcome.

Until next time.

  1. Lovely recommendations here. I already know that my girls would laugh their heads off at The Squirrel Who Split His Trousers. I am definitely going to keep an eye out for this one! #globalblogging
