Austin Macauley sent the following books fore review:-

SANTA’S NAUGHTY LITTLE ELVES;

This is a lovely book all about Santa and his elves who decide it is too hard making so many toys for hundreds of good children; they hatch up a plan to make the nice children’s list shorter.

The book is full of festive related illustrations that will delight children everywhere.

Santa’s naughty little elves is written and illustrated by Harp Dhami and retails at £9.99

THE TINY LITTLE DRAGON;

Tells the tale of Nog, a disabled dragon who is determined not to let this stop him enjoying life.

The book would be useful in inspiring disabled children to do the same.

The book is written and illustrated by S.A. Masters and also retails for £9.99

THE KITE’S TALE a story of adoption:

This is my favourite of the books. It explains all about adoption; what it’s like for everyone involved in the process.

Molly Ashton has written this beautiful book in a way that children will understand. I highly recommend it to anyone thinking about adoption, the story is full of love and delightful, colourful illustrations. It retails at £9.99

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN…;

Teaches children the importance of everyday cleanliness in a clear and simple way that children will be able to relate to.

It is written and illustrated by Benjamin Schmidt and sells for £9.99

Disclosure: I was gifted these books for the purpose of the review, but all opinions are my own.

All of the books would suit a wide age range of children as even the youngest will enjoy the lovely illustrations each one has, that is why I am recommending them all to parents, grandparents and practitioners .

As always questions, comments and topic suggestions are welcome.

Until next time.

  1. What a lovely varied collection of books ,I love the topics of each book and they are each dealing with a very unusual subject .

  2. I love the sound of these books and they deal with issues that are important for children and parents but that aren’t often dealt with in children’s books. Thanks for linking up with #parentpower
