Review of “In The Book”

My 6 year old granddaughter, Sophia loves unicorns so much that she asked  if instead of having presents for her last birthday, could she have her hair coloured rainbow colours so she could be a unicorn.

When “In The Book” asked if I was interested in reviewing one of their personalised children’s books and I saw that one of the options was for a unicorn adventure, I couldn’t agree to it quick enough.

In the book asked for the child’s name and a short message to be included in the front of the book.

I expected Sophia’s name to be just on the front cover making it personalised , so when the book arrived I was delighted to see that her name appears on EVERY single page as well as being cleverly included in the use of some of the illustrations.

The story is written in rhyme (my absolute favourite style of children’s literature)  by Kat Whittingham and the amazing colourful illustrations are hand drawn by Rebecca King.

I am thrilled with my copy of Sophia Gaunt’s unicorn adventure and so would recommend in the book to parents, grandparents, aunties and uncles to purchase for the younger members of their families as Christmas or birthday presents.

It will make a keepsake which will be treasured and read for years to come.

I can’t wait until Christmas morning when Sophia will finally have a dream come true as she sees herself as a unicorn in her own unicorn adventure book.

In the book personalised children’s books are published by Signature books and retail for £12.99. The unicorn adventure book can be purchased here

As always questions, comments and topic suggestions are welcome.

Until next time.
