Review of my spin and learn steering wheel

When Best learning materials corp asked if I was interested in reviewing one of their products, I chose my spin and learn steering wheel because this appealed to my expertise as a former child minder.

On opening the box I immediately saw a quality toy which would provide hours of fun and learning.

The wheel focuses on 5 colours; red, blue, yellow, purple and white there is a light up button for each colour, plus beads and rings in the same colours.

As well as teaching colours  the steering wheel also has shapes to learn; square, triangle, star, circle and pentagon. When a child presses a button the name of the colour or shape is spoken and lights up ( depending on which mode the switch is on) . The modes are colours, shapes or feelings.

The feelings mode explains anger, sadness,  fear, joy and happiness.the LED lights up for each one.

Pressing any button for a second time will play one of 15 different songs.

My spin and learn steering wheel will help children to not only  children to learn about colours, shapes and emotions, but also helps with hand to eye co-ordination  and to develop both fine and gross motor skills and dexterity..

My spin and learn steering wheel has non slip sides and base  meaning that children are able to grip it easily and watch it spin on the floor or table top  which adds even more fun to a product that is so much more than just a toy.

Disclosure: I was sent this product for the purpose of the review but all opinions are my own

.

I highly recommend this auditory and visual learning experience because as a former early years practitioner I know that children will learn a great deal whilst being entertained

.

My spin and learn steering wheel is recommended for age 6 months plus and retails for £34.99 available here

As  always questions/comments are welcome.

Until next time.
