Andrew, the author, reached out from social media, asking if I would review his book.

The book has a vibrant front cover, enticing readers to want to investigate inside.

The story is based on the orignal version of The three little pigs fairy tale.. Tahis sequal shows a much kinder wolf, who is now friends with the little pigs!

The text is written in rhyme, my favourite in children’s literature, because it makes books so much more interesting.

And is cleverly written to contain some of the well known phrases from the original book; such as “He huffed nd he puffed” and ” by the hairs on my chinny, chin, chin”.

Find out what happens when the little pigs decide to throw a birthday party for their new friend.

Throughot the book are some lovely bright illustrations. dding to the charm.

Disclosure: I was gifted the book for the purpose of the review, but all opinions are my own.

The big bad wolf’s birthday party is written and illustrated by Andrew Abel.

It is aimed towards children aged 4-10 years of age, however I know that a lot of adults will fall for it’s humor too. as I have.

I absolutely love everything about this book, so am highly recommending it to parents and carers everywhere. It will make a fantastic addition to book shelves.

The book retails at £31.34
