I have recently self publshed my first novel, why I hear you ask?

There are several reasons why I decided to do this:

As a disabled stroke survivor I needed something to fill my time, I already knew what I was going to write about. And also I thought that the moral of my novel may help any children ( and adults) who struggle with not winning.

My soon to be daughter-in -law kindly offered to draw my front cover picture, as well as some for the inside too.

Facebook friends kindly offered photos for me to use too.

Based on the true story of a race horse in a North Devon village, who after a fall ended his career had to learn that you don’t always have to win.

I have included as many horsey facts as possible because when I was growing up I was eager to learn as much as I could about everything equine

Full of horsey facts, colour photos and illustrations.

My book is aimed at anyone who has an interest in horses; both adults and children( over 8 years) as it’s quite wordy.
